Young, Pink & Talented

So .... are you young and you think you may have some talent – then this project is for you ...

Every year we create what we think is the best marquee at the PINK festival ... ohhhh yes last year the Young Pink and Talented group programmed 7 bands, jewellery making workshops, body popping workshops, graffiti and dressing up loads and loads of mannequins in strange and artistic ways.

The group meets when there’s a particular project – like the PINK festival.

At the moment the group are meeting up to create a 10 minute film which is going to be screened at The Junction on June 1st ... we’re working with a professional film maker to make sure that we create the best arty documentary that we can. This film is then going to go on a trip around Cambridgeshire so that everyone can see how talented we are and what we have to say about being young, pink and talented!

If you want to get involved and be part of 2Byou’s creative wing ... YOUNG PINK AND TALENTED is definitely for you. Why don’t you get in touch with the session worker and you can let them know what creative things that you’re into. We’re looking for young people with enthusiasm to give things a go – we’re not Simon Cowell – we just want to set up a strong team of people to learn new skills and share their talents .... come and be part of the team!
